This was the last game of the fall season as a Parkland Cobra soccer player. 

We tied against U of I with the score 1-1!

Project for Typography 101

I made this as a project in my typography class and decided to share.

World Cup 2018 Logo

These are some of the designs for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. I think the designs are nice and the color choices are well made. The designs also have a nice flow to them.  

Messing with Photoshop

I had a little time on my hands and decided to mess with photoshop for a little bit. Here is something I came up with. My brother on the right playing a soccer game while professional soccer player Xabi Alonso is trying to take the ball away.

Nicely executed logo

I really like how the creator of this logo decided to add a bicycle in a way that works very well. The way the designer used the bike to create the CYC in the logo was genius.

Cool Type Designs

I know this graphic is a little long but each animal portrays type. Each animal is made of exactly the type used to describe their name. I think that is very cool.

This is a graphic that I really like. I like the color choices and the way the background is designed. The type is simple but the simplicity combined with the background makes it a well put design. The way the background comes up to the type helps lead the viewer to the type.

Favorite Soccer Team Logo

This is my favorite soccer team called Tigres UANL. It is a team from Mexican league that I have followed since I was a little kid. I really like this logo because it represents the tiger (mascot) from the team very well and it looks well on a jersey.

One of my favorite designs

Here is a design that I thought was very well made and was made from a well developed idea. The way the combined the tiger and the bodybuilder to create one logo was well executed.

 

 

Tycho Design

For my blogging assignment today I decided to post a design that I really like. I really like this design because of its balance in colors. I also like how the waves disrupt the text and apparently on the point where the water and the type make contact the type disappears.
